Halloween Festivities at Beacon Hill

My roommate and I trekked over to Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood tonight to go admire their Halloween decorations. We were blown away by what we saw. Given that traffic was completely blocked off, the streets were entirely filled with families and their children, from infants on their first Halloween to veteran trick-or-treaters. Houses were decked out with impressive decorations as the one pictured above with homeowners sitting out on their stoops holding bowls of candy. It was a wonderful, festive event to witness, and it made me wish I could have my own kids to accompany in trick or treating.
