The Simple Joy of Leaves, Part 2


I took a break from tackling my work load today by going out on a walk with a friend. We shared some good conversation while we temporarily escaped from the confines of the clinical prep room and the stress of numerous group projects.

It was wonderful seeing how the esplanade and a particular street on campus have been transformed by fall foliage. I took the chance to collect some vibrant leaves to have some of that color with me. Again, I was pleased by a simple, childhood fall activity.
