Therapeutic power of reading

I visited Barnes & Noble with a mentor to help her find a book for a book club she leads at her residence. After browsing through the array of books throughout the store, we settled at the bookstore’s Starbucks, each with a pile of our own books. It was relaxing to read snippets of the books I selected, making mental notes of whether I’d liked to come across them someday. Trips to the bookstore are always refreshing for me, seeing the collection of books available to read someday.
